Lean Into God 2021

Day 8 and I can feel the intensity of the Holy Spirit. I feel the directness and forwardness of His instructions. As I meditate and ponder these last few days while trying to gain some understanding on the last few chapters: it is simple as this; The Father loves His children, God loves me and you too. He thought of everything, If we would just obey and take heed to His instructions our journey would be so easy. We got to lean in. Lord I am leaning in.

My reading this morning highlighted Proverbs 8:2-3

On the top of the heights beside the way, where the paths meet, stands Wisdom [skillful and godly];

At the gates at the entrance of the town, at the coming in at the doors, she cries out:

This entire chapter for me is about choices after you hear the instructions and the wisdom of God what are you going to do: receive it or ignore it? I chose to receive and treasure it in my heart. I can see the simplicity of these two verses, I can see the urge to spread the word of God as so many people are still lost, are waiting on someone to stand and go and speak the truth about who God is. It is there waiting for us all to receive. According to the scriptures it was there before the beginning of time. As I briefly looked back to 2020 I can see the evidence of how God uses the media on a larger scale to reach all men so they can also have a choice. I even remembered when I was lost and caught with wordly desires and the Holy Spirit was prompting me to return to Zion, He used all avenues to get my attention: he used strangers, media, pastors and different religious organizations so that I too had a choice. We have to expand our reach, and utilize our networks. As verse two pointed out “At the gates of the entrance of the town, at the coming of the doors, she cries out”. If you are standing at your post you will not miss anyone. Wisdom, the word of God is waiting for you, it’s crying out. Just lean in and you will hear. My Lord!

Amen sis. I felt the same as I read this chapter. SO many verses says that "wisdom calls out," "raises voice," "speak the truth," "are plain to anyone with understanding," "loves all who loves" it, and was formed in the very beginning. Wisdom is a gift given freely. Salvation is a gift given freely yet so many ignore the calling. I am reminded to continue in prayer for those that have ignored the cry so that they may return as you did to His embrace. God bless you and have a wonderful day.
