A Moment of Anger. A Lifetime of Favor!!

DAY 3

Happy Saturday Fam!

I am eagerly awaiting God's Favor. The scripture verse I read today revealed some incredible promises to me.

"For His anger is but for a moment. His favor is for life: Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning." (Psalm 30:5)

Okay, please read that again slowly: "His ANGER is but a moment." How often have you agonized over things you may or may not have done? Especially when we know that what we agonize over doesn't please God. I love that the scriptures say that God is not a man (see Numbers 23:19). In other words, God says what He means and does what He says.

Yesterday, we read that "one day, in His courts, is like a thousand. This gives us comfort that God's metric system is not like ours. His anger is but a moment. What may seem like forever for us, is only a moment for God.

Moment -ReḡaʿStrong's H7281

This pertains to the onset and the sudden disappearance of His anger.

I don't know about you, but I know people who hold grudges and remain angry for a long time. But Our Father in Heaven is not so.

The following line says, "His Favor is for a Lifetime."

Favor - Rason

pleasure, delight, favour, goodwill, acceptance, will

  1. goodwill, favour

  2. acceptance

  3. will, desire, pleasure, self-will

Life - Strong's H2416 - ḥay

living, alive

  1. green (of vegetation)

  2. flowing, fresh (of water)

  3. lively, active (of man)

  4. reviving (of the springtime)

God's Favor is for life. As long as we have breath in our bodies, God will cause us to grow and thrive. Then scripture declares, "Weeping may endure for a night. But joy comes in the morning."

Joy - Strong's H7440 - rinnâ

  1. ringing cry

  1. of entreaty, supplication

  2. in proclamation, joy, praise

Morning - Strong's H1242 - bōqer

morning, break of day

  1. morning

  2. of end of night

  3. of coming of daylight

  4. of coming of sunrise

  5. of beginning of day

  6. of bright joy after night of distress (fig.)

  7. morrow, next day, next morning

Let me encourage you today: God has given us great and precious promises that He will fulfill. Whether you are in a "night" or a "weeping" season, all of God's promises in him are yes, and in him, Amen. God will deliver you out of all of your troubles.

Dry your eyes and know that this is your season of Divine Favor!

Declare:

I decree and declare that your night season is over in Jesus' name. Amen

I decree and declare that your weeping due to a night season is over in the name of Jesus.

I decree and declare that your life will look like everything God designed it to be, in Jesus' name.

I decree and declare that all things are working together for your good in Jesus' name.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come before you today with gratitude and praise. I thank you for your faithfulness and for the joy that comes in the morning. Your Word in Psalm 30:5 says, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." I cling to this promise, knowing that you are with me even amid my trials and sorrows.

Father, I lift my burdens and struggles to you, knowing you are the source of my strength and comfort. I ask for your healing touch in my life and thank you for restoration and renewal. May You shine Your light on me, dispelling the darkness and filling me with Your joy.

Lord, I trust in your perfect timing and your perfect plan. I surrender my cares and anxieties to you, knowing you are in control. Help me remain steadfast and faithful, knowing that you are working all things together for my good.

Thank you, Father, for the promise of joy in the morning. I choose to fix my eyes on you and your unfailing love. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen!
