Hey Fam!
I wanted to share a quick word with you. As I am preparing myself for the “Lean Into God” 40 Day Fast. I began to train and body and spirit to wake up when the Holy Spirit starts speaking while Im asleep so that I can engage and retain the information. Last night it was like Holy Spirit was putting me through spiritual drills helping me to wake up as He ministers to me. Every time I woke up, I kept hearing the word “so that, it may be well with you” after a series of drills and the repetitive phrase each that I woke up I decided to search the Scriptures for understanding. I discovered a few scriptures that repeats what Holy Spirit was speaking to me. Here is what I found:
Deuteronomy 4:40 “So you shall keep His statutes and His commandments which I am giving you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may live long on the land which the LORD your God is giving you for all time.”
Deuteronomy 5:16 “Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, that your days may be prolonged and that it may go well with you on the land which the LORD your God gives you.”
Deuteronomy 5:33 “You shall walk in all the way which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you will possess.”
Deuteronomy 6:3 “O Israel, you should listen and be careful to do it, that it may be well with you and that you may multiply greatly, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.”
Deuteronomy 6:18 “You shall do what is right and good in the sight of the LORD, that it may be well with you and that you may go in and possess the good land which the LORD swore to give your fathers,”
Deuteronomy 12:28 “Be careful to listen to all these words which I command you, so that it may be well with you and your sons after you forever, for you will be doing what is good and right in the sight of the LORD your God.”
Jeremiah 7:23 “However, I did give them this command: Obey Me, and then I will be your God, and you will be My people. You must follow every way I command you so that it may go well with you.”
Jeremiah 38:20 “But Jeremiah said, “They will not give you over. Please obey the Lord in what I am saying to you, that it may go well with you and you may live.”
The word ‘well’ is translated into other words in the Bible, so the phrase could also read:
“That it may be good, pleasing, merry, cheerful, or better with you.” All of these words pretty much describe the meaning of ‘well’.
Beloved, the Holy Spirit was reminding me of the importance of obedience. So many are "running their blood to water" to secure a "good life" without GOD but Holy Spirit released this wisdom key to me. The Key to a "good life" is to obey God, its that simple!
Lovely ones, like never before we must grab a hold to the entire word of God and mediate on it day and night so that our way will be prosperous and we will have good success. God gives us the power to get wealth, and through our obedience we obtain the Promise.
May you allow God's word to be a lamp unto your feet and a light to your path leading you in the way that you should go. Lastly, obey GOD and live in the "good land, without scarcity" as it is written in Deuteronomy.
Heavenly Father, I pray for myself and these Your people that is reading this post. I know that this word wasn't just for me, but for all who have an ear to hear what Your Spirit is saying to us. Father, forgive us for our disobedience and rebellion to You and Your word. Forgive us for being sacrificial without obedience. We repent now, and ask that you wash us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. May we be purged and purified by Your word. Your word is truth, sanctify us wholly by Your word. Father, give us a fresh start and rewrite the errors of our ways for Your glory. Give us a willing and obedient spirit so that it will be well with us, and our days be long, we shall have plenty, cultivating and eating the good of the land in Jesus name. Amen
