Lean Into God 2021

Day #16 - A new day. A new dawn. Great is your faithfulness to me. Reading Proverbs 16 makes it clear of God’s hatred for human‘s pride. Time and time again not only in Proverbs but throughout the bible we see God’s disdain for a prideful person. Oftentimes we fall prey to pride when we forget that the Lord does not exist for us but we for Him. A prideful person sees and believes himself. So why would God that? Because it prevents us to submit to God’s will. We are pilgrims on this earth and our primary responsibility is Kingdom work. A prideful person is useless to the Kingdom because they are about “their business” and not God’s. We must stop taking God’s glory for ourselves. Any good in us is by God’s design. Proverbs 16:18 reads “Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall“ know that anything acquire outside the will of God WILL NOT LAST. Remember that God is FAITHFUL. Trust Him. Lean in. Rely on. And remain confident in Him. STOP BEING SALTY!!!
