Lean Into God 2021

Blessing! Wow, Day 3 and I am having a great time leaning into God gaining some valuable insights and wisdom. I love reading Proverbs, it is so poetic. I am starting to realize that this lean into God journey for the next 40 days for me is like being on a treasure hunt, looking for hidden treasures. Holy Spirit have your way. Lord give me a greater desire to seek and search your word in an in-depth way. For this morning reading, Proverbs 3:27-28 was interesting “Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee”. As I was meditating on these verses Holy Spirit pointed out that you miss opportunities to extend kindness, or to do good not because you don’t have a willing spirit to extend favor or help your neighbors in need but due to procrastination which cause you to delay. Lord help me not to miss any more opportunitues to do good or to show kindness to my neighbors and to all men. As your word instruct us in Galatians 6:10: ”As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith."
