Lean Into God 2021

Proverbs 4 repeats the command to ”listen”, “pay attention to good instruction“, “accept it”, and “don’t forget it”. But v. 10 adds the promise of long life. This is another way that God wants to satisfy us with long life. I like this plan. Solomon is talking to his sons. So many sons do not have a father who can guide them in this manner but we have a spiritual Father who speaks to us and gives us words of life so that we not only will live but prosper and be in good health. I believe this leaning in is a time to listen more carefully to what God is saying.
