DAY 40

Great Morning Beloved!!

What a mighty God we serve!! I can't even begin to explain the shift that happened for me today. This morning when I woke up I heard the LORD said, "Tell My People to fear not, stand still and see my Salvation". I recently shared with the Facebook group that for the last 30 something days every morning like clockwork when I look at my phone I would see the news of someone passing. After a while I started to feel fearful and extremely anxious about my surroundings. Eventually I shared my fears with mu husband and we prayed. I felt a release but a few days later that fear came back. I started to realize that satan was trying to paralyze me, by bombarding me with thoughts of harm and calamity. I Thank GOD for the power of prayer and His word to combat the negative thoughts. Honestly there are days where I feel bouts of fear, but I stand my ground and trust God's plan for my life. I began to hold on to the promise of Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD you God goes before you; he will never leave or forsake you"

God commands our confident trust inHim. In a world that encourages us to believe in ourselves and to achieve all we deserve, it's paramount to understand who and whose we are. Society sets a bar to earn and accumulate . Accomplishment and success are lauded above humility, faith and God-ordained purpose. We are in a time that fear is being sensationalized on every media platform, anxiety and panic are at an all time. On this 40th day of Prayer the word of the LORD is "fear not, stand still and see My salvation". Beloved it doesn't matter what it looks like, God is with us and He is still watching over His people. Now is the time to make up your mind to trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not to your own understanding. God promised that He will be with us always therefore we can be confident that He has an expected end for us all that is good and not evil.
